Think this will do the trick?

Not only did Anthony Davis waive his trade kicker to help the Los Angeles Lakers open a third max contract spot, but now he's doing the nitty gritty and reaching out to Kawhi Leonard to bring him to Hollywood, according to the latest rumors.

And to further ramp up the efforts, GM Rob Pelinka is said to have asked Kobe Bryant to do the same, though we're unsure of the veracity of these assertions.

The Lakers desperately want a third star to go with Davis and LeBron James, so it's not a shock they're doing some internal recruiting to sell the Lakers. We don't know how persuadable Leonard is, but the Lake Show is bringing out the heavy hitters to make it happen.

Could you imagine a Lakers trio of LeBron, AD and Kawhi? Is that the best group of superstar talent LeBron has ever played with? I would say almost undeniably. It would be hard for Leonard to turn down a dynastic opportunity like this one, but then again, Leonard has always been one to go against the grain, clearly not interested in the public's perception of him.
