VIDEO: Rory McIlroy Drops Obvious F-Bomb After Poor Tee Shot at RBC Heritage
By Emily Adams

Camera caught professional golfer Rory McIlroy dropping some NSFW language loud and clear after a bad shot at 2020 RBC Heritage on Friday, and if you've ever golfed before, well... you've been there. Rory might not be doing too hot in the standings, but at least he gave everyone at home a good laugh.
I’ve never related more to a professional golfer in my life. @McIlroyRory thanks for keeping it real. ? pic.twitter.com/V2mcgMtBbK

At that point in Round 2 action, McIlroy was tied for 41st; you can imagine his frustration. This is the first PGA event that has been played since social distancing measures began due to the coronavirus pandemic. McIlroy has been critical of other players who opted not to attend due to safety concerns, but he's clearly shaking off some quarantine rust himself.
Rory's game isn't quite up to its usual standards at the moment, but he's still entertaining to watch for moments just like this one. Since we can't get on the course to experience golf rage ourselves, we're living vicariously through McIlroy's frustrations.

Analyst: "That's a technical term for blocking it right." #pgatour
Golf isn't the most action-packed sport, but we can count on McIlroy to keep things interesting until other professional leagues start up. Stay real, Rory. We appreciate you, f-bombs and all.
