Ronaldo reveals he was close to signing with Man City
Things aren't going well for Ronaldo and Manchester United, with it really feeling like he has played his final game with the club. He may be getting ready for the World Cup, but his latest interview sure has people fuming.
As it turns out, his reunion with MUFC almost never went down. That's because the team across town wanted him too: Manchester City. Ronaldo said he nearly joined them, which would have been a nightmare for United supporters.

Luckily this didn't happen, but again, the belief is that there's no way back to Old Trafford for Ronaldo because of his controversial comments. We'll see if something changes, but hey, at least he never suited up for MCFC.
