Ronaldo posts emotional Instagram after World Cup elimination

The dream is over for Cristiano Ronaldo. Playing in his last World Cup for Portugal, he had dreams of trying to help his home country win it all. That won't end up happening, as Ronaldo and Co. were eliminated in shocking fashion by Morocco in the quarterfinals.

Ronaldo was seen fighting back tears while leaving the pitch. He was overcome with emotion. Things still aren't easy for him. He made that much clear in his latest Instagram post.

You've got to feel for Ronaldo. He left it all out on the pitch and wasn't able to get the job done for his team. We'll never see him in the World Cup again, and that's tough pill to swallow.
