After the city of Las Vegas had the 2020 NFL Draft ripped out of their hands by the coronavirus pandemic, Roger Goodell announced during the virtual 2020 draft that Vegas was going to get another crack at hosting the event. Goodell tried to tell the world that Las Vegas would get the 2022 NFL Draft, but he was just a little tongue-tied when announcing the pick.

You had one job, Roger. And why'd he even mention Dallas?

The 2021 draft will take place in Cleveland before Vegas gets their chance to host the event. The draft will move to Kansas City in 2023.

Hopefully the city of Las Vegas is going to once again use the Bellagio water fountains as part of the show in order to add some trademark Vegas bombast.

Vegas will finally get their chance to host a traditionally over-the-top spectacle of a draft, even if Goodell couldn't get the words out of his mouth correctly.
