Robert Kraft's Latest Statement About Tom Brady Leaving Patriots Got Super Weird

Tom Brady spent the last 20 years of his pro career with the New England Patriots, but his desire to switch things up for his age-43 season prompted him to bolt for Bruce Arians and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft did make an effort to keep Brady around, Tampa's was simply an offer too good for Brady to refuse. Kraft is still disappointed that he was unable to keep Brady, summarizing his feelings in a really bizarre, serious romance analogy.

You...you got something you want to tell us, Robert?

Brady left the only team he ever knew after 20 seasons, likely due the fact that he was rarely given tons of tremendous talent at wide receiver. That will change in Tampa, as he'll start throwing to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and will no longer have to take sweetheart deals to keep the budget in line.

Brady's departure has the entire state of Massachusetts searching for answers, and some of the most diehard Patriot fans (and ownership!) are spiraling off into really weird places now that TB12 is down in central Florida.

If you thought that Kraft analogy was weird, check back in a few months when Brady is throwing touchdowns and winning games with the Bucs. I bet his analogies get weirder.
