Richard Sherman Trolls Kyle Allen on Twitter After 49ers Dominate Panthers

Richard Sherman is still going after people, both on the field and on social media.

After the San Francisco 49ers' dominant 51-13 win over the Carolina Panthers, Sherman retweeted a tweet from ESPN insider Field Yates that pointed out Panthers quarterback Kyle Allen's chances at breaking the record of most passing attempts prior to an interception.

Well, the 49ers defense made sure he didn't set any sort of record, picking off Allen three times, with Sherman responsible for one of them. They completely shut down the rookie, as Allen only had 158 passing yards on 19-for-37 passing attempts and zero touchdowns.

Sherman's talking a big game right now, but he has to remember that even as interception-free as Allen's been before today, he's still a rookie quarterback who took over for Cam Newton in the third game of the season. It was expected that he'd have a game like this eventually.

The 49ers secondary will have much more of a challenge in the upcoming weeks, with games against the likes of Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson coming up. Let's see how much talking Sherman does if one of those quarterbacks lights his pass coverage up.
