Patriots Fans Vote Richard Seymour Into Team Hall of Fame Over Bill Parcells and Mike Vrabel
By Thomas Carannante

Earlier in the offseason, when NFL fans saw who was up to enter the New England Patriots Hall of Fame, most likely didn't expect Richard Seymour to stand a chance considering he was going up against coaching legend Bill Parcells and three-time Super Bowl champ Mike Vrabel.
Well, Pats fans have spoken, and Seymour is their guy! Congrats to the former first-round pick.
Congratulations to Richard Seymour, who was voted by fans as the 2020 inductee to the Patriots Hall of Fame, the team announced today.

Seymour won the fan vote over Bill Parcells and Mike Vrabel.
Seymour, though he was a victim of a Bill Belichick dealing with the Raiders (we all know how those go), racked up three Super Bowls as well as three First-Team All-Pro selections in New England. The seven-time Pro Bowler spent eight years with the Patriots and registered 359 tackles, 39 sacks, 64 tackles for loss and six fumble recoveries.
Looking at the numbers, Seymour was definitely the right selection. He has better stats (and the same amount of Super Bowls) as Vrabel, while Parcells only spent four years in New England. While his 64-32 record and one AFC title is impressive, that's certainly not enough to best Seymour here.
Welcome to #TheHall, @BigSey93!

After all, how could Pats fans not vote this guy in? He recovered the lesser-known "Tuck Rule" fumble against the Jets in 2001, after all. He's a part of history in so many ways.
