Rich Hill Thinks He's Found a Painless Way to Return in 2019 for Dodgers
By Jerry Trotta

Rich Hill has not managed to stay healthy at all in 2019.
Hill exited his start on Thursday after throwing just two-thirds of an inning, succumbing to what was diagnosed as a strained MCL. Thursday's start was the southpaw's first since June, so it's incredibly concerning that he went down with yet another injury, and a separate one at that.
However, in a surprising turn, the 39-year-old vet claims to have found a way to pitch again this season without experiencing pain in his knee.
Rich Hill, determined to continue pitching this year, said he’s found a way to adjust his leg position that allows him to throw without knee pain. He wore a brace when he threw today and plans to throw again Sunday.

The fact that Hill was throwing again on Saturday just two days after picking up the injury is a good sign, and he even has plans to throw again on Sunday.
Hill is a fighter and he's doing everything in his power to get healthy. If he's found a solution that could get him back on the mound, then he should certainly pursue it.
Rich Hill is excited and ready to return to the mound tonight in Baltimore after a nearly three-month absence. “I want to come back and contribute to this team and help us win a championship.”https://t.co/4guzxZXy5x

The Dodgers have World Series aspirations, and nothing less will suffice. Hill's experience and leadership will be valuable in October, and if he's able to log meaningful innings without the worry of yet another hinderance, then the Dodgers will be far better primed to achieve their goal, at long last.
Let's hope he can stay healthy and contribute to the team getting a ring.
