Last week, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported that an anonymous Philadelphia Eagles player wasn't happy with the front office for not going harder after All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey, as well as being critical of quarterback Carson Wentz and the entire offense.

According to Howard Eskin of Sports Radio 94 WIP, that anonymous player is Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.

If true, it's kind of ironic that Jeffery came out last week and suggested that the story was "made up."

If you ask Josina Anderson, this report can't be true, as she claims that Eskin has "zero knowledge" of who she spoke to in the Eagles locker room.

It's usually not a good thing for your top receiver to be critical of a franchise quarterback and his team's entire offensive setup. After all, Jeffery's end-of-year numbers will be dictated by how many times Wentz throws him the football.

If Jeffery really is the guy who is the anonymous player, this could all be a function of frustration; the Eagles are a struggling football team at 3-4, and largely because Wentz and the offense have been putrid.
