Refs screwed the Commanders in Sunday Night Football loss

Washington Commanders fans are going to be irate about this call for a while. In Week 15 against the New York Giants, the Commanders were down 20-12 and looking to tie things up late. On 4th down, Taylor Heinicke tossed the ball toward Curtis Samuel, but the ball fell to the turf.

On this play, though, Darnay Holmes was draped all over Samuel and pass interference should have been called. It wasn't, somehow, and Washington suffered the loss.

Come on, that's a call that the refs had to make. This was textbook pass interference. Washington was robbed here, straight up. Ron Rivera is livid and it's easy to see why.
