VIDEO: Refs Missed Obvious Ohio State False Start Penalty on Go-Ahead TD Against Wisconsin

Yikes, this is a terrible look for the referees in Saturday night's Big Ten Title game between No. 1 Ohio State and No. 8 Wisconsin. The Buckeyes took their first lead of the game late in the third quarter, but the play should have never been allowed to happen, as the Buckeyes clearly got away with a false start out wide by freshman Garrett Wilson.
If you’re Ohio State, it’s okay to false start before the play, especially if it’s a touchdown. #Big10Championship #OSUvsWISC pic.twitter.com/nWL18xRUN8

You can clearly see that Wilson moved well before the snap, and the defenders can only throw up their hands in disbelief after the officials refused to act. As a result, the Badger secondary was caught a bit flat-footed, ultimately leading to K.J Hill's touchdown reception.

Wisconsin lost the game after holding a two-score lead, so we can expect to see this clip played over and over again amid the recriminations and finger-pointing in Madison. This touchdown by Hill proved to be the ultimate deflating moment for Wisconsin, as they lost a lead they'd never get back. If you're a Badger partisan, you have every right to be furious.
