Based on their history in LA, switching our brains from "St. Louis Rams" to "Los Angeles Rams" wasn't that difficult. However, we are entering the third season of the existence of the Los Angeles Chargers, and everyone from media personalities to NFL referees continue to call them the San Diego Chargers.

Referees in the Chargers' matchup against the Houston Texans incorrectly awarded a time out to "San Diego," becoming the latest proof that we'd all be better off if we just reversed things.

One school of thought would rip the refs, as they've had a few years now to get the name correct. However, calling them the Los Angeles Chargers still sounds sounds wrong when you say it out loud to this day, so it's understandable that refs would mess it up.

Hopefully, when the Chargers move into their fancy new digs with the Rams, they can attract a decent fanbase and finally convince referees and talking heads alike to stop butchering the name of the team.
