A running back that a scout once described as a "bowling ball of knives," former LSU tailback Derrius Guice fell to the second round in the 2018 NFL Draft thanks to some poor interviews and the teasing of a mystery bombshell that never materialized, but he landed in a perfect situation in Washington that would allow him to see the field early on.

However, Guice tore his ACL and missed his entire rookie season. While he was expected to take away some carries from the ageless Adrian Peterson this year, Guice suffered a hamstring injury and could miss the start of training camp.

Between Guice and Reuben Foster, there must be something in the water in the DMV area that makes you more susceptible to serious injury.

After backing up Leonard Fournette, Guice exploded into one of the best running backs in all of college football, rushing for 3,074 yards and 32 touchdowns for the Tigers.

If he's healthy, he is going to be a problem, as there aren't that many running backs with his combination of size, speed, and violence running with the ball.

While another Guice injury is a mild disappointment for most NFL fanbases, Redskins fans have to punching the wall, screaming, "Here we go again!" as another stud rookie is dealt a series of injuries.
