The Boston Red Sox will open up a three-game set with the best team in baseball, the Minnesota Twins. The Twins have been led by a powerful offense and will try to continue their heavy hitting against a Red Sox pitching staff that hasn't returned back to its World Series form quite yet.

Minnesota will look to do what they have done all season, mash the ball. Led by Eddie Rosario's 19 home runs this year, the Twins have been a hitting machine. Jorge Polanco currently leads the AL in batting average at .332. Minnesota also leads the AL in home runs with 137.


Toeing the rubber for the Twins tonight will be Jose Berríos. The Twins right hander has an impressive 8-2 record with an ERA of 3.01 and has fanned 84 batters this year. This will be his 15 start of the season for Minnesota, as he looks to improve on his excellent campaign.
