Even with a new head coach, the Ohio State Buckeyes are still looking to show their same success on the recruiting trail. For Ryan Day, the goal remains to get the best high school players around to play on Saturdays in Columbus. And another top-ranked prospect might just be on his way to the Horseshoe.

2020 running back Kendall Milton, a universally sought-after talent, is going to be wearing the famous Scarlet and Gray, predicts 247Sports recruiting insider Bill Kurelic.

Milton, a 5-star stud out of Clovis, Calif., stands 6-2 and weighs in at 220 pounds. A guy who looks the part in every way, he's also considering LSU, Georgia, and Alabama.

But the Bucks appear to be in pole position.

Of the other teams competing with OSU for Evans' services, it is unclear who ought to be considered in the runner-up stpot. For now, there's reason for the fans in Columbus to feel bullish.

Ohio State could use Milton to get a bump in their class ranking for 2020, which currently sits at No. 11 with just eight hard commits and no ball carriers, according to 247Sports.
