Rays Bizarrely Troll Yankees on Twitter After Rain-Out for Not Having a Dome

Imagine being proud of calling Tropicana Field home.

The New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays will play a doubleheader tomorrow after tonight's game was rained out. The Rays took a little jab at their division rivals by not so subtlety hinting at one of the benefits of having a domed stadium.

Since you want to compare, let's do some comparisons.

The Yankees might be prone to a rainout here or there, sure. But they play in one of the most luxurious stadiums you'll find in the game.

The Rays, meanwhile, play in a dump that is only appropriately equipped to host comic book conventions, not an MLB team 81 times a year. The Yankees might get rained out, but they don't have giant metal walkways that are in play, nor will a power outage force a delay.

The Rays should be proud of the solid team they send out every day, but need to do some serious self-reflection before they take shots at someone else's stadium.
