VIDEO: Police Bodycam Shows NFL RB Alex Collins Getting Arrested on Gun and Marijuana Charges

Free agent NFL running back Alex Collins, who hasn't played since the Baltimore Ravens cut ties with him after the 2018 season, might have an even more difficult time getting an NFL shot now that the bodycam video of his springtime arrest has been made public. The video shows Collins with a handgun and a jar of weed in the back seat of the crashed Corvette he owned.

Drafted in the fifth round (171st overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks, Collins was cut after failing to crack the backfield rotation. He latched on with Baltimore and had a career year in 2017, rushing for 973 yards and six touchdowns.

His play slipped in the first year of the Lamar Jackson era last season, however, as he could only muster 411 rushing yards on 3.6 per carry. He was released from the team following the arrest.

If Collins does get another NFL shot, he'll have to wait a while to see the field, as he was suspended three games for the incident in the spring.

At this rate, Collins needs a minor miracle for an NFL team to give him a second chance.
