Baker Mayfield is fired up over Rashard Higgins re-signing

Wednesday was a big day for the Cleveland Browns, as the team agreed to a one-year, $2 million deal with 26-year-old wide receiver Rashard Higgins. Just like that, one of Baker Mayfield's favorite targets is back in the saddle for the team.

As you might have been able to guess, the star signal-caller is fired up over the news. He let Higgins and Browns fans know just that on Twitter shortly after the signing was made official.

Higgins is ready to 'run it back' with Mayfield and the Browns. The quarterback is surely ready to do that as well. Remember, Cleveland is coming off an incredible season, as the team went 11-5, took down the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round and nearly upset the Chiefs in the Divisional Round.

This team is ready to make even more noise in 2021. Higgins is also motivated to have a big year and potentially earn another new contract from the organization come next winter.
