Rams WR Brandin Cooks Placed in Concussion Protocol
By Kevin Aquino

Rams WR Brandin Cooks took a hard spill on the tail end of a one-handed catch, and exited Thursday night's game against the Seahawks after the play. As a result, the six-year vet has reportedly been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol.
Though Cooks hasn't shown any symptoms of a concussion, Los Angeles is playing it safe and making sure that their wideout is all situated. Cooks has gone for 325 yards on 20 receptions so far this season.

Cooks has been a more-than-solid alternative to teammate Cooper Kupp, who's leading the league in receptions (41) and receiving yards (505).
The Rams have a little over a week to re-evaluate the 26-year-old with their next game coming on Oct. 13 against the 49ers, a game in which they will certainly be without Clay Matthews who went down with a broken jaw and will miss 4-6 weeks.

• Clay Matthews suffered a broken jaw, will undergo surgery + will be out for at least a month.
• Brandin Cooks has been placed into concussion protocol.
The Rams fell victim to a fantastic Russell Wilson performance for their second loss of the year, which is already half the amount of total losses they had last season. Sitting at 3-2 with some banged up key guys doesn't exactly bode another Super Bowl appearance for LA.
