The Las Vegas Raiders provided a plethora of surprises throughout the NFL Draft. Entering the highly-hyped event, general manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden, given the picks at their disposal, figured to come out as one of the biggest winners.

When the dust settled, however, many analysts were left scratching their heads. There's also been a divide amongst Raiders with some of the picks.

Well, Mayock seems to think that Las Vegas outfoxed other teams with two of their most polarizing selections -- Ohio State cornerback Damon Arnette and South Carolina wide receiver Bryan Edwards.

Arnette was easily the biggest reach in the first round. The fact that he went No. 19 overall when the Raiders probably could have nabbed him late in the second is still baffling. Based on value, this was a questionable pick from Mayock.

It drew plenty of criticisms from fans and experts alike.

Only time will tell if Mayock and the Raiders totally blew it in the draft, or they were geniuses with the selections many believe to have been silly. If you're in Las Vegas, you're surely hoping everything works out.
