Raiders' Franchise Value Has Absolutely Skyrocketed Since Las Vegas Move Was Announced

Sports gambling really became popular at the right time, didn't it?

Since the Oakland Raiders announced they were headed to Sin City, they have jumped from being the second-least valuable team in the NFL to the 12th most valuable. The power of Las Vegas? You better believe it.

After bringing back Jon Gruden as their head coach, picking up arguably the league's best receiver in Antonio Brown, and getting even greater recognition on this season of "Hard Knocks", is it really that much of a surprise?

More importantly, while money isn't everything (although it's not far off with what the NFL's making), this team should already be that high because of their history.

Think about it: you've had Marcus Allen at running back, John Madden on the sidelines, and Al Davis in the owner's box, not to mention the most insane group of fans and three Super Bowl Rings. Yet, you were valued less than 30 other teams?

This shows some disrespect toward a great franchise. The fact they had to move in order to get this is insane, but it's also a great investment in the Raiders' future, especially now that Brown's helmet drama seems to be over, at least for now.
