The Chicago White Sox have been the most active team in free agency as GM Rick Hahn looks to establish a roster capable of contending in 2020. The team treated fans to the perfect Christmas gift in the form of the signing of Edwin Encarnacion, further bolstering the lineup ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Following the flurry of offseason signings, the new-look White Sox lineup for 2020 has the potential to be absolutely lethal.

This lineup is a mix between current and future stars, and should strike fear into just about any opposing pitcher.

Chicago's lineup will feature proven studs in Jose Abreu, Edwin Encarnacion and Yasmani Grandal, as well as the emerging talents of Eloy Jimenez and Yoan Moncada, and eventually Luis Robert and Nick Madrigal. Robert and Madrigal have yet to feature in the MLB, but are both extremely highly-rated prospects and appear ready to make the leap to the big-league roster.

Not to mention, the White Sox also have James McCann available for some additional pop, and also traded for Nomar Mazara from the Texas Rangers.

For a team that finished the 2019 season at 72-89, the 2020 White Sox have a much different feel to them already, and spring training hasn't even arrived yet.

Rick Hahn is making all the right moves this offseason as the White Sox have been ultra-aggressive in locking down some of the most notable names on the open market. This is a team poised to battle for the AL Central throne next year.
