Kirby Smart and Georgia have to replace wholesale chunks of their offense after a bunch of early draft declarations, with quarterback Jake Fromm serving as arguably the most noteworthy player to bolt Athens for the NFL.

Georgia could be well on their way to replacing him, however, as they appear to be among the favorites to secure the services of Wake Forest grad transfer quarterback Jamie Newman.

If Georgia is able to convince the dual-threat Newman to come to Athens, their depth chart could look a little something like this.

Georgia 2020 QB Depth Chart

Jamie Newman
D'Wan Mathis
Stetson Bennett
Carson Beck
Nathan Priestley
John Seter

Mathis was originally an Ohio State commit that flipped to Georgia after Justin Fields went to Columbus. He didn't play last year after undergoing surgery to remove a cyst in his brain. A lightning-quick 6-6 dual-threat QB with a hose for an arm, Mathis could take the starting job this season if he's healthy.

Bennett was Georgia's backup last season, and the 5-11, 190-pounder threw two touchdowns against one interception in limited action. For whatever reason, Smart clearly has a soft spot for him.

Beck was the Bulldogs' top QB recruit this year. A 6-4, 230-pound pocket passer, the Jacksonville native stunned everyone when he opted for Georgia over in-state Florida. Priestly and Seter barely saw time last year, and don't expect to play a significant role in the competition.

Georgia faces an uncertain future now that Fromm is off to the pros, but that doesn't mean they'll be struggling to find options to replace him.
