After the shocking news of Felipe Vazquez being arrested on charges of solicitation of a child and providing obscene material to minors, it likely means his career in Pittsburgh is over.

Vazquez's arrest the cherry on top of a disaster season both on and off the field for the Pirates, and it's time the organization does something.

It is time for them to tear everything down and implement a whole new culture in Pittsburgh.

Vazquez was undoubtedly the best trade piece the Pirates had a the deadline, but they chose to hold on to him instead of acquiring assets. Throw that in with the fact they're 65-85 and will not make the playoffs for the fourth straight season, and that's pretty miserable.

Their entire season has been filled with drama and chaos. From suspensions for their bullpen coach and Keone Kela to fights with the Reds (and amongst themselves -- between Vazquez and Kyle Crick) and Cubs (between Joe Maddon and Clint Hurdle), it's hard to argue that the organization doesn't need to make sweeping changes.

Hurdle has completely lost his team and everyone in the organization from top to bottom has to be reevaluated or fired. But let's not forget owner Bob Nutting runs the show, and he's one of the worst in baseball too.

This nightmare may never end.

Somehow the franchise is in a worse state than it was during the 21 years it spent missing the playoffs. Everything will have to be torn down in order to bring some type of legitimacy back to PNC Park.
