Photos Emerge of Carmelo Anthony's Wife LaLa Without Her Wedding Ring Amid Rumors of Split

To put it nicely, things haven't been going great for Carmelo Anthony over the last year. On top of the Houston Rockets cutting ties with him early in the NBA season, leaving his basketball future incredibly uncertain, he's now in danger of losing the only ring he's got.

Photos have surfaced online of his wife, LaLa, out and about without her wedding ring on. This comes after Carmelo was spotted on a yacht in the south of France with a mysterious woman on Lala's birthday.

While this could be nothing, it doesn't take a college degree to be able to connect these dots and figure out that it's less a question of if there's trouble in paradise, but rather how much.

While the two were engaged in 2004 and married in 2010, the pair separated briefly in 2017 after Melo was accused of impregnating a woman at a gentleman's club. He and LaLa reconciled late last year.

If there is any truth to recent infidelity rumors -- Carmelo has insisted there is none -- than that truce may be short-lived.

Over the last few years, Anthony has been in more news off the court than he has been for anything he's done on it. For a player destined for the Hall of Fame one day, it's an unfortunate thing to witness.
