VIDEO: Phillip Ervin Crushes Reds' First Grand Slam of Spring
By Scott Rogust

It took a grand total of three days, but we officially have the first grand slam of MLB Spring Training. While facing the Texas Rangers on Monday, Cincinnati Reds left fielder Phillip Ervin stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and down 3-0. Ervin mad the most of his opportunity by smacking a grand slam off pitcher Arturo Reyes to left center field to give the Reds a 4-3 lead.

Definitely not a bad way for Ervin to make his case for an Opening Day roster spot.
