The Phillies looked like they were in line to close the gap in the division to only half a game. However, a blown save by Hector Neris resulted in a heartbreaking walk-off loss, and the Phillies are now staring at a 2.5-game hole for the NL East lead.

Phillies Lineup

Jean Segura is leading off for the Phils, followed by the trio of Bryce Harper, J.T. Realmuto and Rhys Hoskins. The five-hole is occupied by Jay Bruce, with Scott Kingery batting sixth. Sean Rodríguez, César Hernández and Aaron Nola round up the order.

Philadelphia will look to repeat their offensive performance from last night in hopes of evening up the series of Saturday. Harper and Hoskins have been two of the hottest hitters for the Phillies, Harper has a .305 average in his last 15 games while Hoskins is slugging .625 in his last 7 games.

Nola will be on the hill looking for his seventh win of the year. He's hoping to bounce back from a shaky start to the season that has seen him record a 4.58 ERA with 86 strikeouts across 76.2 innings pitched.

Braves Lineup

Ronald Acuña Jr. leads things off once again, with Dansby Swanson batting second, ahead of Freddie Freeman and Josh Donaldson. Nick Markakis is in right field and batting fifth, ahead of Austin Riley and Ozzie Albies. Tyler Flowers will start in favor of Brian McCann, with Sean Newcomb rounding out the order.

Newcomb will get the start for Atlanta in just his fourth start of the year. He was relegated to bullpen duties but has since been brought back into the rotation.

Atlanta has been one of the hottest teams in the league, winning eight straight games and propelling themselves into first place. Acuña Jr. and Freeman have continued their excellent seasons, both notching a pair of hits in Friday's game. Riley is turning heads as a rookie, with a .952 OPS and 10 homers in just 112 at-bats, and McCann played the role of last night's hero with his 6th home run and driving in the winning run with a two-run walk-off single.
