Star Philadelphia HS Football Player Reportedly Shot and Killed by Twin Brother

Some tragic news out of Philadelphia, as a promising high school football star has reportedly been shot dead by his twin brother, according to police.
18-year-old Suhail Gillard was shot in the chest around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday after he and his twin brother, Fayaadh, were playing with a gun, per NBC10. The incident reportedly took place in their father's apartment.

Suhail Gillard was reportedly taken to a hospital in the area where he was later pronounced dead.
Fayaadh was arrested Monday and has been charged with murder and lying to officials, per police records, but the investigation is still ongoing. He allegedly told officials his brother was shot and killed by a gunman while at a store.

Suhail, a Mastery Charter North High School senior, had reportedly been receiving interest from colleges prior to his tragic death. As a star running back he earned All-Public league honors three times.
