Phil Foden put on a show for Man City in 3-1 win over Brentford
The young Englishman continues to dazzle
Manchester City is right behind Liverpool in the title hunt and they've got youngster Phil Foden to thank for that. On Monday, MCFC fell behind to Brentford thanks to a Neal Maupay goal, which had plenty of people nervous.
However, late in the first half, Foden was able to even things up with a great goal. Then in the second half, he scored twice to not only give City the victory, but he also posted a hat-trick in style. This is a game Foden will cherish for a while.
As of this writing, Liverpool is in first place with 51 points, but Man City is right behind them with 49. Keep in mind that MCFC also has a game in hand. Pep Guardiola's men are the favorites to win yet another league title.
