Pete Rose Was Actually Dumb Enough to Say Kobe Bryant's Death Distracted From Astros' Scandal

We thought the death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash was unanimously considered the hot-button story across American sports. Hearts remain broken everywhere.

The fact that Pete Rose has managed to find some ambiguity in that is extraordinary.

Rose is fed up with the continued tributes to Kobe, as he is upset that the Houston Astros' sign-stealing scandal has been "put on the back-burner." This man can't be serious.

Well, forbid a nation and suffering family mourn the tragic death of an American cultural icon. We need to keep discussing how punishments that were handed out weeks ago will impact a team in March and April, per Rose.

The lack of empathy and lack of any sort of ability to read the temperature of the room is truly astounding from Rose. He did call Kobe a "great guy", but that hardly fixes what his sentiment was here.

Plain and simple, this is not only a horrific take from Rose, but it's a disrespectful one as well.
