The New Orleans Pelicans travel to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday evening, as the two teams continue to try and chase down the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

The game will start at 10:30 p.m. ET and be televised nationally on ESPN from the Moda Center in Portland Oregon. The game can also be streamed on ESPN+ or the NBA live streams subreddit community.
Friday's game will mark the second meeting in 10 days between the two teams, as Portland will look to avenge a 138-117 loss in New Orleans last Tuesday. Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson had arguably his best career game with 31 points, nine rebounds and six assists against the Blazers.
Williamson now goes into Portland, looking to continue the tear he started against the Blazers, coming off an equally impressive 32-point performance against the Thunder last Thursday.

The Blazers will lean on their leading scorer Damian Lillard, who has averaged 29.5 points per game this season.
Both teams are outside of the playoff picture at the moment, but have a fighter's chance at chasing down the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth seed in the West. Portland is closer, at just 3.5 games behind Memphis, while New Orleans' five-game gap makes tonight's showdown that much more important for the Pelicans.
