Brandon Ingram looks to finally be enjoying himself on the basketball court ever since his move to the Big Easy. Sometimes a change of scenery is all that's needed to unlock a player's true potential, and that seems to have been the case with Ingram.

The 22-year-old has shined in 14 games for the Pels, and the team is so impressed they're reportedly already interested in locking him down to an extension.

Ingram joined the Pelicans as a key piece in the famous Anthony Davis trade, which was finally completed this offseason. It seems that move has paid dividends for the former No. 2 overall pick.

The Duke product is averaging 25.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game this year, while shooting at a 48.1% clip from the field, and a remarkably good 42.4% from deep.

Ingram's probably not going to hesitate to sign for the Pelicans long term, as he's playing at a level we've yet to see from him before, and the team would certainly love to pair him with Zion Williamson for the foreseeable future.
