Patriots Rule Josh Gordon and 2 Tight Ends Out for Week 7 MNF Matchup With Jets
By Parker White

The New England Patriots will face the New York Jets on Monday Night Football, and they'll be without some key offensive weapons as they attempt to take care of business.
Wide receiver Josh Gordon, along with tight ends Matt LaCosse and Ryan Izzo, has been ruled out for the primetime contest.
For MNF: The #Patriots have declared WR Josh Gordon (knee, ankle) out, along with TE Matt LaCosse and Ryan Izzo. For the #Jets, LB CJ Mosley is questionable, tho he said he’s playing. TE Chris Herndon and DL Henry Anderson are doubtful.

Gordon left last weeks game against the New York Giants with a knee injury, and after missing several days of practice this week, Gordan is unable to play on Monday.
LaCosse, like Gordon, missed multiple days of practice this week because of a knee injury. Izzo joined the injured report on Friday with a concussion.

With both of New England's starting tight ends sidelined this week, that leaves Benjamin Watson and Eric Tomlinson as the Patriots' only healthy tight ends. Neither player has appeared in a game this season, though Watson did play with the team during the preseason and he has plenty of experience.
