Patriots RB Sony Michel Hasn't Practiced Since May 20
By Jared Kish

New England Patriots running back Sony Michel, who was essential to the team's Super Bowl victory over the Los Angeles Rams, seems to be having a prolonged offseason.
The star rusher hasn't practiced since May 20, which is perhaps raising concerns among Pats fans, especially now that mandatory minicamps are in full swing.

The Georgia product has dealt with knee issues in the past, which could be a reason for his absence. Michel missed a couple weeks last year because of them.
Even if that were the case, Michel's performance in the playoffs last year proved his knees were doing better, especially since he avoided offseason surgery.

Probably little to it, but worth noting after the Damien Harris pick, Michel’s knee history, and hints by multiple Pats reporters that Harris could challenge Michel’s touches.
Nonetheless, having Michel absent from camp has opened up the door for newly-drafted Damien Harris to get more reps. So far, Harris has looked good in practice and figures to share some carries in the backfield.
Still, Patriots fans would love to hear an update on their star running back as soon as possible.
