The New England Patriots were viewed among many experts as the biggest winner of this year's NFL Draft. On Tuesday, they officially locked in their draft class, meaning we'll see if the analysts were right in short time.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Patriots signed running back Damien Harris to his rookie contract. The third-round pick out of Alabama is signed to a four-year, $3.6 million deal.

After the Patriots signed third-round defensive end Chase Winovich, Harris was the only draft prospect to remain on the front office's to-do list. Despite being unsigned, Harris was an active participant in OTAs.

Harris joins a rather crowded backfield with the Patriots, which includes Sony Michel, James White, and Rex Burkhead. The former Crimson Tide rusher made a name for himself as a bulldozing-type back.

In his four years at Alabama, Harris totaled 3,070 yards and 23 touchdowns on 477 carries.

Harris got a taste of pro-like success with the Crimson Tide, and now, he gets the opportunity to continue to get a shot at the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.
