Patrick Mahomes Sends Out Encouraging Tweet for Chiefs Fans Following Major Knee Scare

Rest easy, Chiefs fans. It looks like Patrick Mahomes invaluable knee is doing a lot better than fans thought it'd be doing. When he went down with a serious-looking injury in Thursday's win over Denver, many were ready to say goodbye to the season.

Fortunately for Mahomes and the rest of the team, he's doing just fine after being diagnosed with a dislocated kneecap. Though he'll miss some time, the rest of his campaign is not in jeopardy and he's in good spirits.

He made that much clear on Twitter Thursday night after KC improved its record to 5-2.

That looks like a man who is going to come back stronger and more passionate following his injury scare. The early reports indicate Mahomes could miss around three weeks, but should be good to go after that.

Obviously, the Chiefs are going to want to be careful with their superstar signal caller. Rushing him back would be a major mistake, as this team has aspirations to get to the Super Bowl this season and beyond.

Take care of the knee, youngster. KC needs you back and 100% healthy for when things get serious this winter.
