This isn't a surprise at all. Patrick Mahomes is without question the best player in the NFL, as he's currently the reigning NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP. The man now has two Lombardi Trophy titles to his name. Yeah, he's the real deal.
In recent days, the NFL Top 100 list has been released to the public in sections. On Monday night, the final guys were announced and there was no surprise at all that Mahomes came in at No. 1 on the list. Can he help the Chiefs go back-to-back this campaign? We're about to find out soon.

Mahomes has lived up to the hype in recent years, cementing himself as the best quarterback in the game. Now, people are waiting to see if he'll one day be able to top Tom Brady's seven rings. It won't be easy, but if anyone can do it, Mahomes can.
First, he'll look to take care of business during the 2023 campaign. Kansas City fans have all the faith in the world in No. 15. Look for him to be brilliant this fall and winter.
