You thought Patrick Mahomes reached full form last year?
Ha. Think again.

Not only has the reigning MVP established his brand since February, he's also been hard at work sculpting his body:https://t.co/FVksed00KS
According to Yahoo Sports' Terez Paylor, Mahomes has been hard at work this offseason -- including a regimen centered around conditioning.
Mahomes getting in even better shape? Well, that should come as a huge scare to all other 31 teams in the NFL. A year ago, the gunslinger burst onto the scene and became the youngest league MVP since the 1980s. His elite arm strength, impressive elusiveness, and overall feel for the game made turned him into one of the best quarterbacks in the league even at age 23. With reports surfacing that he's focusing on his overall fitness, an even better version of Mahomes is surely still to come.
This is not normal. Look at the arm angle and the window. Even Robinson looked completely stunned when he turned around and the ball was landing in Ware's arms. pic.twitter.com/94ZV4ypEzf

It's already nearly impossible to beat Pat Mahomes. Defensive backs need to play off their matchups so they don't get burnt, but they can't play too far off because that hands Mahomes easy underneath passes. Defensive linemen need to get to the edge so the QB can't escape the pocket, but they also can't abandon the middle because he's is such a deadly north-south scrambler.
Let this be a warning to the entire league -- if you thought Mahomes was good last season, wait until you see what he has in store this time around.
