The Los Angeles Clippers earned a huge win over the Lakers on Christmas Day, riding a dominant second half to victory against their inner-city rivals. With the Lakers trailing by three late in the fourth quarter, LeBron James was looking to tie the game with a 3-point attempt, but was denied by Patrick Beverley. To make matters worse for LA, it was ruled upon replay review that the ball last touched off James, thus giving the ball back to the Clippers with a few seconds left on the clock.

Beverley's clutch defense saved the game for the Clippers, as he boldly locked up James and smacked the ball out of The King's hands at the perfect moment.

The Clippers' guard once again showed off his tough mentality as he didn't hesitate for even a moment while up against LeBron.
