Pasadena Sunset Reflecting on Oregon's Helmets Turned Them an Awesome Pink Color
By Michael Luciano

Oregon has a uniform basically every other week, and they're starting to run out of potential combinations that feature black, yellow, and green. Maybe they should add some pink to the color palette.
The reddish-orange sunset overtop of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena reflected off of the Ducks' metallic helmets, and it made the helmets appear as if they were a muted pink color.

Someway, somehow, these ended up pretty sharp.
Oregon, normally a team that would jump at the chance to break out their most flamboyant uniform possible, went for a muted forest green jersey in their matchup against Wisconsin. Mother Nature appears to have taken it upon herself to spice up Oregon's uniforms, and she did a nice job of it.

Things like that are one of the many reasons that anyone who argues that there is a better place to watch college football than Pasadena is provably wrong.
When you combine Oregon's bold, metallic uniform choices with the radiant hue of a Southern California sunset, something truly remarkable happens.
