Pair of Future Georgia Bulldogs Get Coveted 5-Star Ranking From 247Sports
There's nothing quite like landing a 5-star prospect on the recruiting trail. And for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs, they've added two of them on Tuesday without having to lift a finger.
In the final 247Sports rankings for the 2020 class, both defensive tackle Jalen Carter and offensive tackle Broderick Jones went from 4-star recruits to 5-star players.

Carter, now the No. 3 DT in the country, inked with the Bulldogs during the Early Signing Period. He chose to play for Smart and his coaching staff over additional offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida and many others. He's also ranked the No. 9 player overall for '20.
As for Jones, he has yet to sign with Georgia, but he reaffirmed his commitment to the Bulldogs following his visit to Athens over the weekend. Plenty of schools, including Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas and Illinois, have been trying to flip him, but it doesn't appear that's going to happen.

Georgia holds the No. 2 class for 2020, with Alabama No. 1. However, there's still plenty of time before National Signing Day on Feb. 5 for UGA to take over the top spot.
