The NFL lost a legend this offseason when former Green Bay Packers QB Bart Starr passed away, but he'll still live on within the sport.

He'll be remember in a significant way this coming season as the Packers announced the team will be wearing No. 15 decals on their helmets to honor the late Starr.

Did we expect anything less? Starr was the class of the Packers' organization during and after his playing days, so it's only fitting the team did something of this stature to keep him in the hearts and minds of fans.

Aside from that, the Packers will also award a $250,000 impact grant to the Bart and Cherry Starr Foundation during the team's home opener in addition to a halftime ceremony honoring Starr, which will feature Packers alumni.

Packers fans are certainly hoping the team plays with extra motivation for Starr to hopefully get back into the postseason. It'll surely be an emotional year for the organization.
