The Green Bay Packers have made a move to bolster their rather depleted receiving corps.

On Wednesday, the Packers announced they have signed former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Ryan Grant. In a corresponding move, the team waived running back Tra Carson.

He bears no relation to former Packers running back Ryan Grant, who last played football in 2012.

The move comes as star receiver Davante Adams deals with a turf toe injury, which Adams admitted he doesn't know when he'll be ready to return. Geronimo Allison suffered a concussion this past Monday against the Detroit Lions and has been placed in league protocol.

Grant was signed by the Raiders this past April, and made the 53-man roster for the start of the regular season. The veteran wideout caught four passes for 14 total yards through the first two games of the season before being released.

The year prior, as a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Grant hauled in 35 receptions for 334 yards and one touchdown.

Considering Adams, Allison, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling did not practice on Wednesday, Grant has good shot at playing this Sunday against his former Raiders. Revenge game upcoming? Stay tuned.
