When Jimmy Graham signed with Packers before the 2018 NFL season, it was assumed he would be able to add a veteran presence and be utilized as an offensive weapon. The 6-foot 7-inch tight end was coming off an impressive season with Seattle in which he put up 10 touchdowns.

Well, to the disappointment of Packers fans, that ability to find the end zone never quite came back to him, and after two seasons of frustration, the team will reportedly release Jimmy Graham on Thursday, making the 33-year old the latest big name to join the free-agent market.

It just never came together for Graham in Green Bay, but he'll get one more shot at proving himself elsewhere.

To highlight his lack of offensive production, Graham had only 38 catches in 2019, his second-lowest total of his career, with the lowest being in his rookie year back in 2010 with New Orleans.

Whether was a bad offensive fit or just a rapid decline due to age, it was not a successful tenure for Graham in Green Bay, and the Packers have yet to find the productive tight end Aaron Rodgers has needed for years now.
