The 9-3 Green Bay Packers are having a very good season thus far in 2019. While many have not shied away from applauding Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur
for the Pack's success, there is one guy who needs to be praised more for his contributions to the team.

Kicker Mason Crosby is having a career year this season, and he needs to be getting more attention for it, especially when you factor in the adversity he has faced during this stretch.

Crosby's wife had a cancerous tumor removed earlier this year and his sister-in-law passed away due to ovarian cancer on Friday.

Green Bay's kicker has had to deal with a lot of hardship this season, but he hasn't let that stop him from being arguably the best kicker in the NFL through 13 weeks. He has gone 14-of-15 on his field goal attempts and is a perfect 33-of-33 on extra points.

We have entered an era where PATs are no longer gimmes, which makes Crosby's numbers even more impressive.

The mental toughness the veteran kicker has displayed in 2019 is beyond words. He may not receive any rewards for his efforts, but he deserves recognition at least among Packers fans, who were getting impatient with his poor play last season.
