3 Former Packers You Didn't Know Were in the XFL

The XFL has returned, and the quality of play on the field is already lightyears ahead of its ill-fated first incarnation. Part of the reason why is the quality of the rosters and coaching staffs, which are littered with former Green Bay Packers. These three stand out as the best players and coaches to step onto Lambeau Field and make it in the XFL.

Michael was better known as a Seattle Seahawk, but the presence of Marshawn Lynch made it increasingly tough to get on the field. In his second stint with the team, he was cut after nine games in which he was the team's leading rusher. Green Bay picked him up, and he ended up with a small role in their 2016 playoff run. He'll compete with former Redskins running back Matt Jones for playing time in the St. Louis backfield.

2. DuJuan Harris, RB, Los Angeles Wildcats

Remember him? The 5-7 former Troy Trojan saw some time here and there for Green Bay, playing in 19 games and rushing for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Harris had a productive 2016 with the San Francisco 49ers, but he hasn't played in the NFL since and is looking to cash in on his one last chance in the XFL with Los Angeles. He never mastered running between the tackles, but he's small and shifty enough to break off a big play or two in the XFL should he be utilized properly.

1. Winston Moss, Head Coach, Los Angeles Wildcats

A 10-year veteran, Moss was named the assistant head coach of the Packers in 2007, and kept both that role and his spot coaching the outside linebackers until Mike McCarthy was fired in 2018. He was almost immediately named the head coach and general manager of the Los Angeles Wildcats. While his first game in charge against Houston didn't pan out, hopes are still high for Moss in this new league given the experience he brings.
