One of the Biggest Audiences in Recent Years Got to Watch the Cowboys Choke vs the Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys met up in Week 16 in a national television showdown on FOX. The Cowboys had a chance to clinch the division and instead choked away the opportunity.
The game was apparently a huge hit with fans over the country and drew in over 25 million viewers, according to Sports Media Watch.

The game was also the fifth-most viewed battle of the entire season. That makes sense when considering how far and wide the fandoms go for both the Eagles and the Cowboys.
Fans all over the country got to watch a decimated Eagles roster embarrass a star-studded Dallas team, which is now in danger of missing the postseason.

The Cowboys no longer control their own destiny. They'll need a win and an Eagles loss to win the division. pic.twitter.com/42BmjEc3gT
The Cowboys are always going to be in the national conversation thanks to being "America's Team." That means millions of viewers and millions of criticisms after every bad performance.
Falling so flat on a national stage once again may be enough for Jerry Jones to finally move on from Jason Garrett.
