Oklahoma Responds to Allegations of Mental and Physical Abuse Against RB Kennedy Brooks
By Michael Luciano

A Twitter user has come forth and alleges to have been the brunt of both mental and physical abuse at the hands of Oklahoma Sooners running back Kennedy Brooks.
A Twitter account with the username @malloryjech accused Brooks, who was not charged following a significant Title IX investigation, of abuse that included leaving her on the side of the road twice.

"All individuals who file a Title IX complaint are provided counseling with confidential advocates, accommodations that include academic scheduling, and referrals to other agencies for additional recourse including, but not limited to, local police departments," said the University in a statement shorty after Brooks was cleared in the investigation. "Filing a Title IX report does not limit the ability of either party from pursuing action through the courts or the criminal justice system."

While it remains to be seen if anything materializes from a criminal perspective related to this case, there isn't much more the university can do on their behalf.
Brooks figures to be one of the featured backs for Lincoln Riley's Sooners this season.
