This might be the most obvious targeting penalty of all-time. Oklahoma DB Brendan Radley-Hiles went high on a hit of LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, making contact with the Tigers' star's helmet. While the play (somehow) wasn't called targeting on the field, after reviewing the replay the officials made the right decision.

Why was this necessary? We typically refrain from calling a hit a cheap shot, but this is an exception. Edwards-Helaire was dealing with a hamstring injury entering the game, and didn't even have the ball. Bradley-Riles has to know better than to make such a monumental mistake in the biggest game of the Sooners' season.

To make matters worse, LSU scored several plays later. Ouch.
